Guidance for New International Students
The International Center held Guidance for New International Students on April 16, 2026, at the Kuramoto Campus and on April 21, 2026, at the Josanjima Campus.
These guidance sessions were organized for newly enrolled international students at Tokushima University in order to provide academic and daily life information and to support a smooth start to their student life in Japan.
Following opening remarks by Professor Yasuzawa, Director of the International Center, faculty members of the International Center provided information on career opportunities, disaster preparedness, traffic safety, daily life rules in Japan, residence status procedures, and other important matters. The students listened attentively throughout the sessions.
After the guidance sessions, daily necessities such as tissue paper and toilet paper, donated by member organizations of the Tokushima Regional Council for the Promotion of International Student Exchange, were distributed to the students. The students happily received these useful items.
The International Center will continue to actively support international students so that they can enjoy a safe and fulfilling student life at Tokushima University.
