【Report】Online Seminar “Building Human Relationships for Stress Prevention”

On Monday, October 25, 2021, International Office of Tokushima University held the online seminar “Building Human Relationships for Stress Prevention” for international students. The seminar was attended by six students together with International Office staff.

This was the third seminar to support international students to cope with various stress during Covid-19 pandemic. The seminar was facilitated by Dr. Inosaki Atsuko, who is a licensed psychologist and counselor of the Health Service, Counseling & Accessibility Center of Tokushima University. Participants were able to learn about the importance of “relying on people” and how to create and maintain good relationships with surrounding people. At the end of the seminar, some participants commented “I was able to understand interesting information about psychology,” “I want to know more about mental health and stress management,” and “I understood that I needed to talk to someone, and it was a very meaningful seminar.”

The International Office will continue to support the study and life of international students.
