The university updated the COVID-19 related information and plans.

  1. The number of cases of infection by the Omicron variant is decreasing. All prefectures have ended the priority measures to prevent the spread of the disease.
  2. From Thursday, March 24, the BCP level of the entire campus will be lowered to 2 for the time being.
  3. Remote classes are recommended. At the discretion of the faculty, face-to-face classes and research for degree completion may be conducted with sufficient infection prevention measures in place.
  4. In principle, the first classes of the new semester will be held by remote classes.
  5. If returning or entering from an area or country where the Omicron variant is mainly prevalent, stay at home for 7 days from the day after your return or entry, and if returning and entering from other areas, stay at home for 14 days and check your physical condition.
  6. Extracurricular activities must be conducted with prior permission.
  7. Be sure to check emails from the university and the university website updates because university policies will change based on the spread of the infection.
