The university updated the COVID-19 related information and plans.

  1. A student of Tokushima University was found to be infected with COVID-19 on January 6, 2022.
  2. We are currently working to identify those who had contact with the students who were found to be infected under the guidance of the public health center.
  3. From January 11 to 13, classes at Josanjima Campus will be held online in principle. However, at the discretion of the faculty, face-to-face classes and research for degree completion may be conducted with sufficient infection prevention measures in place.
  4. From January 14 to 16, students will not be able to enter the Josanjima Campus due to the Common Test for University Admissions and its preparations.
  5. The number of people infected by the Omicron variant is increasing rapidly throughout Japan. We would like to ask all students to take more thorough measures to prevent infection.
  6. Be sure to check emails from the university and the university website updates because university policies will change based on the spread of the infection.
