Your application will not be completed until the examination fee has been paid. Applicants whose application procedures are not completed are ineligible to take the examination.
If you select the electronic submission of application, your examination fee should be paid by credit card (e.g. VISA, MasterCard, JCB, AMERICAN EXPRESS) or China UnionPay Card online at the payment page. The ID and password for your online payment will be provided by email after your application has been received by the graduate school. Additional handling fee will be charged for your credit card payment. The customer’s copy of the receipt or payment completion email should be printed out and kept for your proof of payment.
Applicants in Japan who paid the examination fee at Japan Post Bank and submit their application documents by mail should skip this step of online payment.
Note that the examination fee will not be refunded under any circumstances once it has been paid.
