Welcome Event for New International Students Held

On October 15, 2026, the International Center held a Welcome Event for newly arrived international students. The event is organized each semester to provide opportunities for interaction among Japanese and international students, helping new international students adjust smoothly to their new environment.

A total of 73 students participated in the event, including 41 international students and 32 Japanese students. Participants were divided into mixed groups of international and Japanese students, where they enjoyed various games and had the opportunity to socialize over light refreshments, fostering new friendships.

The venue was filled with a warm and lively atmosphere throughout the event. Participants actively engaged in conversation and enjoyed interacting with one another. Many quickly became acquainted despite meeting for the first time, making the event a valuable opportunity to form new friendships and deepen cross-cultural understanding.

The International Center will continue to organize a variety of events to promote interaction between international and Japanese students. We warmly welcome the participation of everyone interested in international exchange.
