【COVID-19】Notice

The university updated the COVID-19 related information and plans.

  1. Several students of Tokushima University were found to be infected with COVID-19 from January, 2021.
  2. The BCP level of each area will be set until January 31 as follows: 3A for the Josanjima area, 1 for the Kuramoto area, the Shinkura area and other areas such as the Ishii area.

  3. Classes on the Josanjima campus will be online only for the time being, but face-to-face classes may also be offered if the dean deems it appropriate to do so. In the Kuramoto and Ishii areas, face-to-face classes or research for a degree are conducted while taking thorough measures to prevent the spread of infection.
  4. Please avoid traveling outside Tokushima prefecture and outings by nonessential and non-urgent reasons until February 7.
  5. If you travel the prefectures where the state of emergency has been issued (Tokyo metropolitan area, Saitama, Chiba, Kanagawa, Tochigi, Gifu, Aichi, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo and Fukuoka) by unavoidable reasons until February 7, consult the educational affairs office of your faculty in advance. If you travel above areas, you are required to stay home for 14 days after returning to Tokushima.
  6. Be sure to check emails from the university and the university website updates because university policies will change based on the spread of the infection.
